Currently all our servers are located in Germany at our german partner Hetzner. We are working towards bringing more servers in U.S. and Japan.

By meaning preconfigured environment we provide you with a machine that has been optimized for Drupal. Furthermore we have several clean Drupal and Pressflow setups available in the administration panel.

Due to security and additional Drupal improvements we do not allow you to edit settings.php file. Instead please use local.settings.php file which is included in settings.php on every site.

When you add a new site in the 20DrupalHosting system, an Install task is spawned. When you Verify your site 20DrupalHosting system:

• Scans the site and builds or updates the package registry in the Aegir database.
• Creates important directories in the site folder, such as 'files'.
• Sets or corrects the appropriate permissions
• Manages/updates any site aliases (symlinks, redirects etc)
• Re-generates the settings.php
• Re-generates the site's web server vhost configuration file
• Re-generates the site's drushrc.php and a Drush alias
• Clears caches.

Yes! We are heavily caching all websites on many levels. This includes .js, .css, image files and your websites (based on your Drupal settings).

However all your changes will be visible immediately when you open your website on port 8080. I.e. http://yourwebsite.com:8080
